There is a belief that supermarkets and manufacturers have a duty to reduce the packaging of products they sell. Others argue that consumers must avoid buying products with a lot of packaging.

Although some individuals impose the responsibility of reducing packaging on manufacturers and salespeople, others think that consumers are to decrease the usage of it. In my view, both factories and clients are accountable for plastic bags produced as well as used to carry products. In this essay, I will discuss both views and deliver my own opinion.

Admittedly, companies play a key role in the production of waste that is led by the overproduction of packets. Firstly, stores must impose some restrictions to use the plastic bags by limiting the numbers of it per person. Encouraging them to use fewer amounts, on the one hand, can as well show the effect in a long run. As for manufacturers, they should find ecological ways of producing covers for their products. Easily combustible paper, for instance, may be replaced by plastic materials even it causes some more spending to use from scratch.
People are as responsible as companies and salesmen. As one option, customers must pay attention to recycling in everyday usage. They have to collect packets in separate bins rather than throwing them away with full of mixed litter. In that way it will be handy for recyclers to find. The other way of addressing the issue is using packets several times with the same products they fit. Even though we are to utilize packets in various purposes, we can avoid them with the help of plastic containers, or reusable bags.
In conclusion, although companies and shops widely influence on regulating packaging, buyers are also able to contribute to the reduction of plastic waste.
