Abstract
The stress-strain state of an underground polymer (viscoelastic) pipeline interacting with the surrounding soil under the action of seismic action of an arbitrary direction in the form of real earthquake records is investigated. A mathematical model of the dynamic behavior of a viscoelastic pipeline under an arbitrary direction of seismic loading has been developed. The problem is solved by the finite difference method. An algorithm has been compiled and a software product has been developed based on it for numerical calculation of an underground polymer pipeline under the influence of recorded real seismograms in different cities of the world. Changes in displacement, stress, shearing forces and bending moments over time and along the length of the pipeline are obtained. The viscoelastic properties of the pipeline material are described through a three-parameter Rzhanitsyn–Koltunov core. The calculation of an underground structure under the influence of recorded real seismograms takes into account all the features of the seismic process contained in the seismograms, and therefore more objectively characterizes the behavior of the structure under seismic influence.
