Become a Better Communicator
The primary purpose of grammar is to improve the speaking and writing skills of the learner. In addition, grammar can help them become a better communicator. Grammar studies the rules and structure of language, including parts of speech, sentence structure, and punctuation. Learning grammar is essential because it helps one communicate clearly and effectively with others in any situation.
The key to good grammar is consistency, ensuring that the writing follows a uniform set of rules. For example, if learners want to use a single quote mark to emphasize something, follow that style throughout the text. If they use double quotes instead, ensure that’s the punctuation mark they use throughout the text consistently.
The better they get with their hold of grammar, the more confident they will feel when speaking or writing in English. It will also help them avoid common mistakes that may cause confusion or annoyance for others listening to or reading what they say.

Task-completion activities: puzzles, games, map-vocabulary, and other kinds of classroom tasks in which the focus is on using one's language resources to complete a task.
Information-gathering activities: student-conducted surveys, interviews, and scarches in which students are required to use their linguistic resources to collect information.
Opinion-sharing activities: activities in which students compare values, opinions, or beliefs, such as a ranking task in which students list six qualities in order of importance that they might consider in choosing a date or spouse.
Information-transfer activities: These require learners to take information
that is presented in one form, and represent it in a different form. For example, they may read instructions on how to get from A to B, and then draw a map showing the scquence, or they may read information about a subject and then represent it as a graph.
