Entry 1. Descriptive report of the teaching context
1.1 Descriptive writing
The main purpose of this report is to give description of the process of my pedagogical practice at school №74 in Samarkand district region. At the start of September we had a meeting which was conducted by the dean of the English faculty II, O.Y.Yusupov, and teachers. At the meeting we were informed with the whole process of our pedagogical practice which was explained by Zarina Vafayeva. In general, the meeting was organized in order to inform us with the pedagogical process in detail.
On the 6th of September I went to school. The director of school Radjabova Ra'no gave me crucial information about the life of the school and she gave instructions of what I should do. We had a passive practice which lasted a week. In a week I observed teachers' lessons. While observing teacher's lessons I learnt a lot of new teaching methods and techniques, approaches.
Then active practice lasted till the end. It was the time when we conducted the lesson individually. In my active practice I felt myself as a teacher. I was responsible for the class 5th. It was the first time I have really known how much hard work professional teaching entailed. During my active practice I prepared handouts, teaching materials. I tried to interest children with English language. The theme of my first demo lesson was " What is your family like?". The type of my demo lesson was interactive. During my demo lesson, students did their best and tried to be active, get more information which is one of important factors. Moreover, during pedagogical period I opted for audio-lingual methods using lyrics with filling the gap activities and showed videos.
To sum up, I can say that my pedagogical practice was full of new impressions, methods. This part of my education gave me an opportunity to work on myself. During my pedagogical practice floured my weak points and I tried to correct them.
