Procedure of the lesson:
I. Organizing moment: Motivation,Greeting, checking attendance, season, weather, checking the preparation for the lesson.
II. Asking homework:
- Check for homework given on past lesson.
- Ask pupils all new words learnt on previous lesson.
III. Pre-activity:
Activity 1 Label the pictures with the expressions from the box.
Objectives:
Objectives: to warm up by singing the song;
STEP 1:Play the DVD. Ask the pupils to listen to the song and sing it. Look at copies for the DVD script.

STEP 2:Checking homework. The pupils work in pairs. Pupil A says about his/her people, their birthdays and years of birth and Pupil B listens. Then they change the roles.
E.g. Pupil A: My grandfather’s birthday is on the 26th of September. He was born in 1951.

Activity 1Filling the gaps according to Elton John`s song.
Objectives:- to practice working with the Wordlist;
-to pronounce the new words correctly and establish their meaning according to the song.
- in order to improve listening skill to sing a song with singer.
STEP 1: Ask the pupils to read the questions and look up the meaning of the words inWordlist. They should write them in the exercise books.

Activity 3Matching the words with musical instruments by listening.
Objective: to give practice in listening and writing sentences
STEP 1: Ask pupils to match the words with pictures by listening songs of musical instruments.
STEP 2: To check the correct answers.
Activity 3 Choose the correct alternative for each situation. Then, listen and check.
Objective: To improve grammar and writing by listening.
STEP 1: To hand out handouts to pupils.
STEP 2: To explain pupils to choose and circle the correct alternative in text by listening.

Ask the pupils to learn by heart the new words. Draw the pictures of musical instruments. Check that everybody understands what to do with the task. Ask the pupils if they have any questions.
