University Dormitory Information(2022 Fall) 
 
There are five residence halls in Keimyung’s Myungkyo Residential area, which can 
accommodate over 2,400 students in 7 halls. All the dormitory rooms are double 
occupancy and roommates are matched randomly. 
★ Type of Dormitory: 
 General halls 
These halls are mostly occupied by Korean students and there is no second language 
requirement. (Bathroom and Shower room are separate from the bed room) 
 Bongsa Hall for male only(with Korean Students) /  
Hyupryuk Hall for female only(with Korean Students) 
This is the fairly newest dormitory of the residence area. It is equipped with a bathroom 
in each room, air-conditioning, and a fitness center in the building. The fee is higher 
than the other General halls.
★ Dormitory Amenities

a reading room and a seminar room on each floor

a lounge with internet access 
- 
a laundry room 
- 
a shower room 
- 
a snack bar in the administration building 
- 
a basketball court and soccer field 
☞ Some of amenities cannot be used because of COVID-19 Situation 
★ Room 
 Each room has beds, desks with lamp, chairs, a closet and an air conditioner. 
* Smoking and drinking are not permitted inside the dormitory. 
 Telephone service is limited at the dormitory room. It is free to receive calls and to 
make phone calls to the other dormitory rooms and the offices in the campus. However, 
you should use public phone for local, distance and international calls. 
 LAN connection may not be available properly on some specific areas.(You have to 
buy a WIFI Router for a better connection by yourself) 
 There is a curfew at every night. So please carefully consider before you 
choose to stay in dormitory
