Material on Realia-money and realia-measures for memory training. 
Mnemonic images. Also this exercise is used for non- associative memory. 
Mnemonic poems. This exercise is aimed at relieving stress, relieving the stress 
of learning. 
“Snowball”. In this exercise the element of absurdity helps to consolidate the 
skill of non-associative (non-logical) memorization. The skill of stepwise lengthening 
of the structure merges with the skill of syntactic expansion, only in this case linear 
expansion is proposed. 
Text memorization. The most accurate reproduction of a fragment of text in the 
native language. 2. The same tasks are pursued by exercises for memorizing text in a 
foreign language (language of translation). 3.Sampling information on a specific

Reading numbers to students at a fast pace. Students must subtract 10 from each 
number or add 1, and then translate the answer into a foreign or native language. 
Such exercises are focused not on expanding the amount of memory, but rather on 
maintaining memory in a mobilized state and are offered to students as a “charge” at 
the beginning of a lesson in consecutive and simultaneous translation. A variant of 
such “charging” can be the translation of a verb with a change ignorance of face and 
number. 
Memorization of a non-associative series of numbers or / and words. 
The most common exercises in the preparation process are sight translation, 
echo-repetition and simultaneous translation.

“Green Apple”. It is best used at the very beginning of training in order to 
develop the skills necessary for more complex exercises. It consists of pairs of words 
in English, each taken from completely different fields. The task of the student is to 
instantly respond to a new pair, translate it and move on to the next one. Translation 
must be performed aloud when recording on any device equipped with an audio 
recording function. In case of difficulties that arise in the process of independent 
work, you should simply underline the couple of words that caused difficulties and 
translate further. After the end of the lesson, they need to return to the missed pairs 
and try to identify patterns in the mistakes. This exercise is aimed at developing quick 
reaction skills and memorizing new words, but due to the fact that the exercise is 
relatively simple, it can be considered as a leading exercise to more complex ones.
Lightning Rods. It is aimed at training the translation of such words that the 
translator must always translate, since for him and for the speaker they are among the 
most important. They are used to express a very controversial (scandalous, offensive) 
thought, but at the same time to avoid trouble. Such words include “according to”, 
“some experts believe”, “it is considered” and others. The exercise proposes to 
translate the sentences aloud without skipping the so-called “lightning rods”, which 
are already in bold. Work should be in sequential mode, slowly, if necessary, making 
notes in a notebook. Having finished translating, you need to read the ready-made 
versions of the translation.
