Muammoning o‘rganilganlik darajasi. Tilshunoslikda O’zbek va Ingliz tilidagi fe’l so’z turkumining tadqiq qilinishi o’zbek, rus va ayrim ingliz olimlari tomonidan yoritilgan, turli dissertatsiya ishlari va monografiyalar tayyorlangan.
Tadqiqotning metodlari. Qiyosiy-tahliliy, statistik tahlil, sistem-struktur metod va usullardan foydalanildi.
Tadqiqot natijalarining ilmiy-nazariy va amaliy ahamiyati. Dissertatsiya xulosalaridan boshqa lingvistik sohalar tadqiqida, grammatika o’qitilishiga oid darslik va qo‘llanmalar yozishda, “Ingliz va o’zbek til oilasining fe’l strukturasi” nomli monografiyani yaratishda va turli metodik qo‘llanma yozishda foydalaniladi.
Dissertatsiyaning tuzilishi. Dissertatsiya “Kirish”, “O‘zbek va ingliz tillarida fe’l so‘z turkumi, ularning yasalishi va tasnifi masalalari”, “Turli tizimli tillarda fe’lning kategorial shakllari qiyosiy tahlili”, “Ingliz va o‘zbek tillarida fe’lning vazifadosh shakllari” kabi uch asosiy bob, umumiy xulosalar, foydalanilgan adabiyotlar ro‘yxatidan iborat bo‘lib, 93 betdan iborat.

Object and subject of research. The object and subject of the dissertation is the comparative analysis of the verbs in the current English and Uzbek languages, the comparative study of their categorical forms and functional forms.
The purpose and objectives of the research. The main goal of the dissertation is the comparative analysis of the verbs in the current English and Uzbek languages, the comparative study of their categorical forms and their functional forms, and the functional features of functional forms
Based on the essence and purpose of the work, the following tasks were set before the research:
1. Comparative analysis of verbs in modern English and Uzbek languages;
2. Classification of time categories in Uzbek and English languages and their comparative study;
3. Explain the importance of verbs in the construction of sentences in different structured languages and their relationship with other parts of sentences.
4. To reveal the stylistic features of the person-number suffixes of the verb word group in the current English and Uzbek languages.
