INTRODUCTION (Abstract of the dissertation of the
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD))
The aim of the research is to study the political processes in the Ferghana
Valley during the reign of the Sheibanids and the factors that influenced their
development.
The object of the research is the history of political processes in the
Ferghana Valley during the reign of the Sheibanids.
The subject of the study is the analysis of the
origins of the political
processes that took place in the Ferghana Valley in the conditions of the formation,
strengthening and crisis of the power of the Sheibanid dynasty, as well as internal
and external factors that influenced their development.
Тhe scientific novelty of the research is followings:
It is substantiated that the transition of the Ferghana Valley to the Sheibanid
dynasty took place in three stages, the first of which (1503) was the recognition of
the power of Sheibanikhan by the ruler of Ferghana Ahmad Tanbal, the second
stage (1504) was the end of the reign of Ahmad Tanbal and the transfer of control
of the valley to the Sheibanid sultans, the third stage (1510-1514) is explained by
the establishment of the rule of the Mongol khan
Sultan Saidkhan in Ferghana
under the influence of political processes after the death of Sheibanikhan and the
restoration of the rule of the Sheibanids in the valley by the governor of Tashkent,
Sevinchkhajakhan and it is proved that the establishment and abolition of the reign
of Sultan Said Khan in the Ferghana Valley depended on the results of the struggle
waged by Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur against the Sheibanid sultans;
It is proved that the establishment and abolition

It is substantiated that during the reign of the Sheibanids, the Ferghana Valley
was administratively divided into two parts: Akhsin and Andizhan, and the
historical roots of such a division date back to the
period of the Samanids and
Timurids;
clarification was made to the personality and political activities of the
Sheibanid sultans who ruled in the Ferghana Valley (Janibek Sultan (in Akhsi),
Mahmudshah Sultan (in Andizhan), Jumonmardalikhan Sultan (in Andizhan),
Amin Sultan (in Andizhan), Dostmuhammad Sultan (in Akhsi), Mumin Sultan (in
Andizhan), Hashim Sultan (in Andizhan), Poyanda Muhammad Sultan (in Akhsi),
Khazar Sultan (in Akhsi), Uzbek Sultan and Muhammadkuli Sultan (in the
Ferghana Valley) based on historical sources.
