Anti-Money Laundering rules (AML)
: A set of
procedures, laws or regulations designed to stop the
practice of generating income through illegal actions.
Application Programming Interface (API)
: A set of
routines, protocols, and tools for building software
applications. An API specifies how software
components should interact. In general terms, it is
a set of clearly defined methods of communication
between various software components.
Bitcoin
: A network in which encryption techniques
are used to regulate the generation of units
of currency and verify the transfer of funds
(when lowercase, the term also refers to the
units of currency rather than the network).
CENTRE
: A protocol for digital wallet interoperability
across currencies and borders, across diverse
software implementations, and across multiple
blockchains, ledgers, and settlement rails.
CENTRE Network
: The connected network of CENTRE
nodes operated by participants such as wallet
providers, service providers, and financial institutions.
