BARE INFINITIVE + C + M
e.g. Bring your things. Do your lessons.
Be careful. Come here after sometime.
Study harder. Pass me the salt.
Open your books.

Negative command is formed in the following way:

DON’T / DO NOT + BARE INFINITIVE + C + M
e.g. Don’t touch my phone. Don’t sit on my chair.
Don’t sleep in the lesson. Don’t waste your time.

Sometimes, we can use the word ,,DO’’ before the bare infinitive in order to express our command stressfully.

e.g. Do listen to me. Do clean your room.
Do come to here every other day. Do start the lesson on time.

If we want to mention the person whom we are talking to we usually mention them at the end of the sentence and then put comma before them.

e.g. Come here and help me, John.
Don’t sleep late, Ann.

Sometimes the pronoun ,,YOU’’ can be used at the beginning of the sentence in order to show anger.

e.g. You, move to that chair. You, open your books.
You, stop talking. You, don’t be silly.

Imperatives which are directed to the first person plural are used with the help of the following structure:

LET US / LET’S + BARE INFINITIVE + C + M
LET US / LET’S + NOT + BARE INFINITIVE + C + M

e.g. Let us have an extra lesson tomorrow. Let’s meet with them.

Let’s save our homeland. Let’s organize party tomorrow.
Let’s write another rule.

These kinds of imperatives are not used in order to express command. They are used in order to give suggestion.

In order to make imperative sentences which are directed to the first person singular we use the following structure:

LET + ME + BARE INFINITIVE + C + M
LET + ME + NOT + BARE INFINITIVE + C + M
e.g. Let me have breakfast.
Let me go my home earlier.
Let me not do it now.

These kinds of imperatives are not used in order to express command. They are used in order to ask permission.

Imperatives directed to the third person are used in order to give suggestions not command and we express it with the help of the following structure:
