Tongue-twisters are a fun way to improve the pupils’ pronunciation and help to be fluent.
Make a semantic map: The teacher selects a word for this exercise and projects it for the class on a whiteboard. Students read the term and then list words that immediately spring to mind (this is awesome because it activates prior learning). All of the words that spring to mind are compiled into a list, and each category is then applied to the words. Either the entire class or small groups can complete this. Then, after utilizing a graphic organizer to create a "map," students will discuss it. It is possible to offer extra or alternative categories. Students can add relevant terms on the map as they read the text.
