Formative assessment
8 students who are studying at the secondary school are chosen for these activities. These group consists of 3 boys and 5 girls who have already had friendly reletionship among them. Friendly atmosphere in calss encourage learners to be more proficient in target language(Gocer, 2017).They are under 15 years old. English has been being taught for them as a second language for 10 months and now their level is pre-intermediate. All of them are Uzbek and they have a strong desire to learn English so these students are pretty active and attentive in every lesson. Their aim is to improve their reading and writing skills in order to avoid difficulties while explaining their opinions and comprehension. These students are always ready to do all tasks given in the lesson and two reading and writing activities are given below to help their understanding.
Reading Activity

Reading is a complicated cognitive procedure of decryption signs in order to form meaning( Schulz, Baker, Purcell, 1977). It plays an important role in language teaching. It is the most necessary way to increase our knowledge in a wide range. It is way of getting information from written or printed text. Reading without knowing the meaning of the text doesn't mean to read succesfully, to read a text successfully means to understand or know the whole meaning of it. Reading is not only psycholinguistic process but it is also one way of sociocultural practice. When learners read a text, different texts for various purposes are chosen by learners and through them, they learn many cultures, behaviours. In order to increase students' desire to learn readibg skills, appropriate texts must be choosen by teachers. These texts must be interesting and relevant to learners' needs and their linguistical level.
The walk-about
This activity must be chosen according to the learners' levels. This is mostly appropriate for all levels. 20 or 30minutes are taken to do this activity. In advance, in order to be prepared to this activity, several queation are selected and they are written. They are cut into strips. Then these strips are taped in different places around the wall in the classroom and have a set of these questions ready for each student.
Process: In pairs, students walk around the classroom from one question to another question.one of two students stands with his/her back to the wall, while his/ her partner reads the question. The listening student answers the question . If he/ she doesn't know the answer, the pair can work on it together or they can turn another pair or to the teacher for help. In the next question, the student who previously read becomes the listener. With this order, students move around the room until they have answeres all the question or you have stopped them. Distribute a copy of the entire set of questions to all students. In small groups, students work on the entire set of questions. In plenary, talk about some of the most intetesting or puzzlng questions.
