Bog'liqAbdullayeva M.M GENDER SYMMETRY AND ASYMMETRY IN A FOLKLORE TEXT
A good wife makes a good husband.
Like father (mother), like son (daughter). Yomon farzand ota-oani yerga qaratar, Yaxshi farzand ota-onani elga oralatar. Yomon erkak to’y buzar, Yomon xotin – uy. The second embodiment of the gender pair has an implicit character: the components of the pair are presented in various proverbs, the identification of the pair is possible by comparing the corpus of texts. Каков батюшка, таковы у него и детки Какова матка, таковы и детки “Like mother, like daughter” Onasiga qarab qizini ol One of the main manifestations of gender asymmetry in the texts of proverbs is gender lacunarity. The term gender lacuna/lacunarity currently does not have an unambiguous definition in linguistics; both interlingual [11] and intralingual lacunarity [12] are analyzed in research. Intralinguistic gender lacunarity in the work of M.P. Alekseeva, E.G. Basalaeva “The phenomenon of lacunarity in the semantization of the gender component” is defined as “the presence of only one member of the pair”, which, according to the authors, allows “talking about the presence of linguistic lexical lacunae associated with gender” [13]. As a result of a qualitative and quantitative analysis of gender symmetry and asymmetry in the texts of proverbs, the priority of gender symmetry was established, and a way to overcome asymmetry by compensating for lacunarity was identified. The symmetry of gender is preferable to the asymmetry in the represented collective national consciousness in connection with the desire for harmonization in the socio-cultural space of relations between the male and female principles. The universal nature of the metagender beginning represents the idea of a biosocial universal principle in which gender symmetry is realized. It seems promising to analyze the conceptual foundations of this phenomenon, to study the cultural and historical conditions within which ideas about the male / female / metagender principles have developed.
