What inspired you to start She Winks?
The inspiration for She Winks came from that inner desire of wanting more
out of life and knowing that we were destined to do what so many said we
couldn’t.
What is the She Winks mission statement?
Embrace the face you were born with, as we will never try to change it. She
Winks is here to enhance the natural beauty you were blessed with.
How do you handle feelings of envy or competition?
Realizing that we weren’t given this gift to become rich or compete to be
the best but instead it was to fulfill a dream. The dream to one day be able

to say we were entrepreneurs in a world that many believe we couldn’t be.
What is the one thing that you feel women business owners need on
their journey?
Faith and Prayer; whatever your belief is, believe in it wholeheartedly, pray
and ask for guidance and you will hear the answers. And a good set of balls
to push the negative people out of their way!
What do women need more of?
I want to say “balls” again, but I’ll use confidence instead; belief in
themselves. Teamwork; empowering one another. Asking for assistance;
don’t attempt to do it all alone. A good cry when things don’t work out.
Letting go of things that are not meant for us.
What do women need less of?
Cattiness; why not join forces with the other women that can help you?
Insecurity; ignore the negative voice saying you can’t because you can.
Excuses; stop feeling sorry for yourself? Envy; why be envious when you
can have the same if not more?
What is inspiring you right now?
Seeing women evolve and coming together to help one another. Knowing
that we can turn to another female entrepreneur for guidance is reassuring.
Growing up, we didn’t see this so it’s refreshing.
