I will teach a chant to the class related to the whole unit.

Fast Food Sort
I will have students stand in a circle and hold a food card checking if they think each item is familiar.
Then, with a short chant they will pass the cards around. Those who answered to the question with a food card will sit down.
We will keep going until one or two people are standing.

I will elicit some the name of the foods on the board.
Students will go and find their food and stick the flashcard
As I am collecting the last cards, I will ask the Ss: does he like? Should we eat a lot of it? Every day

Reading
I will stick papers on the wall. in each paper has a short text about fast foods.
Then, I will create a T-chart on the board for them to copy 8 foods with original country.
Teacher will be model. Food and country.

Mingle – Change +
I will ask the Ss to come to the board and make a circle
I will give clear instruction about the activity
I will use the ball. Students throw the ball each other and tell the name of the food, the partner must find the origin of the country.
Then I will announce that time is up.
As a plenary, I will take the ball and children will tell me whether they liked or not.
