The markets offer a wide range of investment instruments, including stocks, bonds, commodities, and derivatives. In this research paper, we will discuss derivatives markets and other investments. Derivatives are financial instruments that derive their value from underlying assets such as stocks, bonds, commodities, currencies, or even interest rates. The most common types of derivatives include futures, options, and swaps. Futures contracts are agreements between two parties to buy or sell an underlying asset at a predetermined price and date. Futures contracts are used to hedge against price volatility and to speculate on price movements. Options are contracts that give the holder the right, but not the obligation, to buy or sell an underlying asset at a predetermined price and date. Options are used for hedging and speculation. Swaps are agreements between two parties to exchange cash flows based on different financial instruments. Swaps are commonly used to exchange fixed and floating interest rates. www.businessresearchinsights.com 2018 2019 2020 2021 2022 2023 2024 2025 2026 2027 21980 39170 Global Derivatives Market Size, 2027 (USD Million) Derivatives markets have grown significantly over the years, providing investors with opportunities to hedge against price risks and to speculate on price movements.
