[The examiner asks the candidate about him/herself, his/her home, work or studies and other familiar topics.]
Topic: Health
Q. Is it important to you to eat healthy food? [Why?/Why not?]
Answer: Yes, it is absolutely important that we eat healthy because “health is wealth”. Eating nutritious and healthy food, together with enough physical activities, can help us reach and maintain an optimum weight while also reducing the risks of developing life-threatening diseases like cancer and heart disease. I eat healthy food to lead a healthy life.
Q. If you catch a cold, what do you do to help you feel better? [Why?]
Answer: If I catch a cold, I try to take hot chicken soups, and warm tea with lemon juice in it, as often as possible because hot soup helps clear nasal congestion by breaking the mucus thin while lemon juice with its vitamin C improves my immune system and energy level. I also try to take as much rest as possible because it keeps my mood positive.
