The staff structure of the department and it’s changes
In the period from 1981 to 1991 academic years according to the staffing table of the approved Minister of Education of the USSR the staff of the faculty from 5 to 25 persons was established.
The teacher staff was consisted of 18 people in 2014-2017.
The Heads of military department of Fergana State University
I n the period from 1981 to 1988 the head of the military department was Colonel Khaydarov Rafik Saitovich.
In the period from 1988- to 1992 the head of military department was Colonel Tarasyuk Andrey Timovich.
In the period from 1992 to 2008 the head of the military department was Colonel Umarov Bahtiyar Mirrahmanovich.
In the period from august of 2013 to present time the head of military department is Lieutenant Colonel of the Gafurov Mirza-Djamol Kasimovich.

G eneral information about faculty
In 1954,in Fergana Pedagogical Institute was associated physical education part ,
firstly it was under the guidance of mathematic – physic faculty ,then led activity
under the guidance of chemistry – biological faculty.
In 1958 “ physical education ” part was separated from chemistry –biology faculty and given a name of faculty.
In this faculty there are educated professionals from some courses bachelor’s degree:
1) 5112000-Pyhsical education (since 1954)
2) 5112000- developing women’s sport (since 2013) for courses of master degree ;
1) 5112000-Physical education and methods of sports practice theory (physical education )
There are more than 40 professor –teachers from physical education theory and methods in this faculty and physical education and sport departments, for instance, 1 doctor of science , professor, 6 candidates of science, docents, 11 considerable teachers and more than 25 high- educated teachers are teaching the students.
Faculty of physical education has its own scientific school. Doctor of pedagogical science professor SH.X. Kxankeldiyev opened a scientific school during his being a chief of department. Under his scientific guidance A.Abdullayev ,O.G.Turgunov V.G.Kim, M.S. Kxaziakxmetova , O.T. Nazirov, N. Koraboyev , A.T. Akbarov, A.T.Tolibjonov, T.S.Rozikov , R.A. Khamroqulov, K.K. Jaborov , R.R.asulov, M. Borkoshev and M. Mirzamov were given scientific degree of pedagogical science candidates. They all play a great roll in developing physical education sport sphere in Fergana, Kuva, Andijon , Namangan, regions of our republic and also in Kirgizistan republic .For scientific accessories of this department we can show 14 candidacy dissertations, a book named “physical education theory and practices” (2005- 2007) for higher education , 2 monographs, more than 20 teaching – tactics pamphlets. During activity of department in foreign countries (Germany ,USA) were published 2 articles ,in magazines of the republic of Uzbekistan were published more than 60 articles basically about consequences of scientific experience . In national scientific conferences were proclaimed 20 scientific articles, in republic scientific and practical assemblages more than 600 scientific articles and thesis were proclaimed.
