I would like to tell you about my best friend.
Her name is Nastya. She is twelve. Nastya and I are classmates.
Nastya is a slim. She has short blond hair and an oval face. My friend’s eyes are brown and her nose is turned-up. She has shapely arms and legs. So Nastya is a good- looking girl.
Nastya is interested in music and sport. She plays saxophone and her favourite music is jazz. Nastya and I are fond of rhythmic gymnastics. Each year we visit different Russian cities and take part in regional competitions.
Although Nastya is very busy she has good marks and sometimes helps me with maths. I help her with literature in return. We share our secrets with each other and keep them carefully.
I like Nastya because she is kind, honest, hard-working and reliable.

I would like to tell you about my best friend.
His name is Alexey. He is thirteen and he is older than me. Alex and I are not classmates. We are neighbours.
Alex is thin but strong. He has short dark hair and a round face. My friend’s eyes are blue, his nose is straight. He has shapely arms and legs.
Alexey is interested in sport, computer games and books.
His favourite game is basketball. Al takes part in regional competitions regularly and wins prizes. Alex and I are fond of football and hockey, that’s why we play the games when we meet in the yard. When the weather is bad Alex and I have fun, playing computer games or reading interesting books about adventures and friendship.
I like Alexey because he is brave, clever, unselfish and reliable. I am happy to have such a good friend.
