Global software market size valued at approximately 51 billion dollars in 2021 and it is expected it would increase by 8.7% from 2022 to 2028. Especially, rising network security and privacy concerns support software market. There are different coding languages that software engineers use, the site berkeley.edu giving information that the most common 3 coding languages. They are HTML, Python, JavaScript. To present in this report I chose Argentinian software developing company Globant because in my opinion Argentina is a bit not developed from this site. However, I have seen in internet that Argentina also have company like this. The company of Globant is founded in 2003 by Martin Migoya, Guilbert Englebienne, Martin Umaran and Nestor Nocetti in Argentina. The company headquartered in Buenos Ayres and has worldwide 17 offices including US, Brazil, Spain and India. The company provides services to various industries such as finance, healthcare, and etc. The company is successful enough, in 2022 Globant became supporter of Fifa+, and regional supporter of Fifa world cup. Besides that, company win recognitions. One of them is they named as a top employer company forbes.com. Globant employees more than 17000 people worldwide and total revenue for this company is approximately 1.6 billion. Usually we think software developing companies has no big problems after their success. However, they also face some problems. The company of Globant also experienced issues in spite of their success. As an example I can mention data breach in 2020. In this year CEO of the Globant was the first founder of company Martin Migoya. Who was Martin Migoya? One of the most enthusiastic businessman in technology industry. He had been recognized as a one of most creative businessman out of 100 by Fast company in 2014. What is data breach? Data breach is a problem if the confidentiality or personal information be accessed or stolen. The main causes for this issue is cyberattacks, company error or physical theft. The reason why hackers stole identity of people is to take money to not to distribute public. That is why this problem is serious, the is huge damage to companies from financial side. However, leader of the Globant was able to solve this problem. The first this he did was cover the damaged users and he notified that users as soon as possible. And the next thing was shutting down all compromised systems. After experiencing such a problem Globant updated their security system. And organized daily security trainings and implemented access controls. The next main problem is COVID-19 pandemic. Many of us think that software developing industries is not damaged due to this disease. However, as industries and other companies Globant also impacted by this problem. As it is mentioned above Globant is a company which develops software services to other industries financial, manufacturing companies. After lockdown and declining of that kind a companys’ revenue Globant also faced serious problem which is difficult to solve. In the first half of 2020 revenue of Globant significantly declined. However, the leader of Globant Martin Migoya, now it is worth to mention as Globant is a newly opened company in 2003 the CEO is not changed. So, Martin Migoya one of most talented leader could solve this problem by changing business landscape. Before Globant used to develop services for financial, retail and etc. But after changing landscape, they provide digital strategy consulting, user experience design and cloud migration. The next solution they did is cost-cutting measures by reducing travel expenses and postponed new office openings. And the last thing they shift to distance working more and to expand their revenue they continue good selling strategy. So, all strategies worked good and in the second half of 2020 Globant continued increasing revenue as every year despite of challenges due to COVID-19. The third problem that Globant recently faced is job strike among high level executives. In 2018 the high level employees of Globant left the company including chief technology officer and chief financial officer. It is not clear why they strike their job. Leaving of employees is not considered as uncommon thing there may be some personal problems or disagreements with company itself or maybe challenges. There was no specific reason to specify to public. The job strike in the company of Globant brought particular issues to leader. This led to changing attitudes to leadership of Globant. This brought concerns among investors and analysts because they began not to believe this company. Most of people considered that company cannot stay stable in its growth. In turn this caused to drop of company stock price. The company experienced really bad concern of employees also because at that time job seekers worries about possible job strike. However, the creative leader Martin Migoya did not in a panic and he did following steps. He organized open dialogue with employees and ask about their worries. And gave them possible solutions. He found the solutions which is proper to each side. In conclusion to this CEO of Globant is a best example to copy the strategy. His character and mind is really insane. Most of people be in panic while they facing problems but we found Martin Migoya never gives up. Above it is only counted 3 challenges that company faced but in 20 year period Globant experienced a lot of difficulties and win all over them. I personally think the role of leader was very big in company’s success that is why this company is nowadays considered as a top software developing company. I think the future of this company is pretty good. We know demand for this service is day by day rising. And it is worthy to mention that Globant nowadays began working on Artificial Intelegence.
