Dashboard Build Checklist:
Start build after the dashboard has been reviewed in Workgroup.

If there are no changes requested:

• 
  Dashboard Parameters:
  
  • 
    Check for Department, Location, or Service Area parameters being set to Foundation System DEPs/EAFs - either remove or swap to appropriate Benefis DEP/EAF.
    

• 
  Dashboard Access:
  
  • 
    Swap access from User Types/User Roles to Report Groups
    
    • 
      Feel free to confirm with Lauren or your application teams what Report Groups are appropriate if it's not obvious from the User Type or User Role name.
      
    • 
      Make sure to add IT Staff Report Group to every dashboard.
      

Note: some dashboards are meant to be accessed by hoping in from another dashboard. So not every dashboard needs to have the "Enabled for end user selection" checkbox checked. But all in-scope dashboards should have the "Ready for use" checkbox checked.

If there are changes requested:

• 
  If it's not an Epic-released dashboard feel free to edit the existing record directly.
  
• 
  If it is Epic-released you'll need to:
  
  • 
    Create a copy of the dashboard - Record name should have Benefis as a prefix.
    
    • 
      May need to also create copies of the components you want to edit.
      
  • 
    Display name: Leave this the same as the original dashboard, end users should not see the Beneifs prefix when searching for the dashboard.
    
  • 
    Uncheck the "Ready for use" and "Enabled for end user selection" checkboxes on the original dashboard.
    
  • 
    Update the Report Tracker - swap your custom record ID in for the Epic-released record ID.
