2.3. Tourist resources in the socio-economic life of Uzbekistan

importance
Given the favorable climatic conditions and unique landscape of Uzbekistan, there is every reason for the development of sports and eco-tourism. The Fergana Valley and Tashkent region are rich in magnificent mountain systems, flourishing valleys and magnificent mountain rivers. The fresh mountain air, the abundance of sunny days throughout the year, the magnificent mountain scenery allow not only citizens of Uzbekistan, but also residents of neighboring countries such as Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan to become tourist attractions. Different types of mineral waters are widespread in the territory of Uzbekistan, more than 300 medicinal groundwater mineral springs in the country are visited by many people. Currently, 121 of these sources are operational. There are many mountain resorts where Chimgan and Turtkul can be developed. High snow mountains allow you to practice various types of mountain tourism, such as mountaineering, speleotourism, river tourism. The abundance of medicinal herbs makes it possible to organize species for the collection of different ecological species, different herbs and plants. This is of interest among many foreign tourists. Assessing the current state of tourism, it is important to note that the level of infrastructure development in Uzbekistan does not fully meet the needs of foreign tourists. The lack of infrastructure has made it difficult for the previous administration to encourage competition and improvement.

the command system is the cause. If the infrastructure is not sufficiently developed, it is impossible to increase the flow of tourists and, accordingly, increase foreign exchange earnings. Therefore, the state of infrastructure has a direct impact on the development of tourism and the formation of the country's image. First of all, it should be noted that before the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, not enough attention was paid to tourism. There was no objective information and advertising about the tourist potential of the republic. Tourist opportunities are one-sidedly covered by the narrow interests of the old structures. As a result, tourism, service and entertainment infrastructure is underdeveloped, the level of tourist services is low, and relations with the world's leading tourism enterprises are not ideal. The tourism infrastructure in Uzbekistan is not evenly distributed. Tashkent city and region have 36% of the country's tourism potential. Four regions (Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara and Khorezm) and the city of Tashkent have the largest infrastructure potential, and the Fergana Valley has 19% of tourism infrastructure.

One of the peculiarities of tourism is that it is considered only as a way to spend leisure time. In many cases, trips to other areas, sightseeing, study, etc. can also occur when sending people on a business trip. But here the goal is to complete a certain work, so it cannot be included in tourism. At the same time, it should be noted that tourism-related activities should take place in people's free time. In short, the fact that our people spend their free time elsewhere (this is not an attempt to make money) is part of tourism .
Tourism, as an integral part of the economy, brings income to the host country, provides solid foreign exchange earnings, and increases employment. You will need a hotel to serve the tourists. Here they have to eat. They do different shows. All in cash, in many cases if they are foreign tourists, provide an increase in foreign exchange earnings.
Tourism is not only an economic but also an important social sector. Along with its economic efficiency, it also has great spiritual, spiritual and intellectual significance. Due to this, the state pays special attention to this area and determines certain benefits. People use these benefits only because they are tourists. This is a testament to the uniqueness and great socio-economic importance of tourism. Privileges are reflected in the passage of tourists through customs, payment of taxes, issuance of passports at departure, obtaining tickets for air and rail transport, their registration. Thus, tourism has its own characteristics as an integral part of the economy. In addition, tourism has a significant impact on the life of the country. Tourism is primarily for the benefit of tourists, i.e. their worldview expands, they become physically healthier and their spiritual wealth increases, they enjoy the perception of the environment through exposure to them .
Tourism also has great benefits for the local population. They get jobs, communicate with people of different nationalities, ethnic groups and peoples, and get acquainted with their different traditions and values, the opportunity to earn a steady income.

will have the opportunity to sell products, the locals will preserve it as much as possible to demonstrate their traditions and values and restore the forgotten ones, improve the hospitality traditions while restoring the attractive traditions of hospitality . As a result, the worldview and cultural level of the local population is constantly growing.

The development of tourism is also very beneficial for the state. In particular, it promotes the growth of its economy through the development of tourism, increases revenues to the state budget, conserves natural resources, seeks and achieves social stability of the country, achieves international relations, expands cultural ties, revenue will increase, etc. The development of tourism will also bring great benefits to the environment. In particular, efforts will be made to preserve the country's biofield, to ensure environmental sustainability, to use natural resources for the enjoyment of tourists, to create scenic areas, to fight for the natural conservation of water, air and forests.
Tourism can have both positive and negative effects on the lives of local people.
