Junk Food is gaining popularity globally due to its easy availability and affordable prices. While the advantages of this trend are quite noticeable, I believe, drawbacks of eating more fast foods are more important than the benefits.
To begin with the bright side, it might be said that fast-food is famous among people of all ages. That is, due to lower costs, most people choose such foods, and preparing such foods does not require special skills. The fact that fast food can be prepared quickly at home, or that we live in the age of technology, the possibility of ordering it through online applications forces those who are working people to choose this food. In addition, fast food is much cheaper than home food. That is why the demand for it is increasing today. Thus, this makes it clear that fast food offers many advantages to people.
On the flip side, eating fast food can cause various diseases. First, fast food can contribute to obesity and weight gain because fast food contains a lot of cholesterol, carcinogens, and toxic fatty acids that cause harmful health problems. Moreover, diabetes is another problem that can be caused by excessive consumption of unhealthy food. As a result of this, the average life expectancy of the organism may decrease, that is, it may lead to death. Thus, eating fast food can be risky.
In conclusion, nowadays fast food chains in profit because of some positive sides, however, I suppose that ubiquity of unhealthy food brings about more problems compared to any advantages it might bring.
