Phone number:+998 97 302 32 72 Abstract: the article describes the data of independent work, the performance of self-education by students, the methods of implementation are given Key words: self-education, independent work, individual, professional work. Today, one can observe a difficult situation in the activities of teachers - the requirements for the quality of education are growing, educational programs are increasingly filled with information and communication content, along with this, the requirements for qualifications and personal qualities of teachers are constantly growing, they should work only in a creative way, manage to combine educational material and not miss personal development each student. They should approach each student individually. As a result, the indicator of mental and emotional stress may increase, which is associated with the manifestation of stress in the workplace, which is not inevitable in our profession. In order to overcome such manifestations and obtain satisfaction from professional activity, it is important to consider the problem of pedagogical competence of a teacher. A teacher, like any other subject of social activity, needs to take care of his professional and personal development. The modern world does not stand still, it is constantly developing, being supplemented, new technologies are being introduced, young people use it more, all this requires humanity to acquire new knowledge and skills, improve its competence in a particular issue. The teacher, who is the main carrier of information, is no exception, and this, in turn, implies constant updating. The purpose of continuous education is the development and formation of a personality during periods of its socio-psychological and physical maturation, stabilization of vital forces and abilities, in addition, continuous education is considered to be education that occurs throughout a person's life and is ensured by the unity and integrity of the entire education system; the creation of necessary conditions for self-education, comprehensive development of personality; the totality of coordinated, continuous, differentiated educational programs of various levels and levels that guarantee the realization of the right to education and provide an opportunity to receive general education and vocational training, retraining, as well as to improve their qualifications throughout life. Continuity of professional development is a necessary process for the individual, personal and professional experience of each teacher. In this regard, in the system of continuing education, it is important to pay special attention to professional development. Thus, continuing education helps a teacher to maintain and improve his professional level, to master various competencies throughout his pedagogical activity. The task of professional and pedagogical education in this regard is not only to prepare a competent specialist, but also to provide conditions for effective professional and personal self-development of the future teacher. Foreign theories also emphasize the special importance of the phenomenon of self-development as the main internal mechanism of personality development (Maslow A., Allport G., Rogers K.). Self-development is considered by these authors as a desire to become more capable, competent, as a tendency to realize the inner potential of the individual. Self-development is understood as a person's own activity in changing himself, in revealing and enriching his spiritual needs, creativity, and his personal potential. Self-development integrates the activity of the subject aimed at the development of character, abilities and individuality. The main idea of the problem of professional self-development is the idea of determining the development of personal activity, so a person is studied from the standpoint of his compliance with the profession and the success of his activities in it. Becoming a professional is possible only as a result of the unity of development of both professionalism and personal development. Professional development of a teacher is considered as growth, formation, integration, realization in pedagogical work of professionally significant personal qualities and abilities, professional knowledge and skills, and self-development is considered as an active qualitative transformation of the teacher's inner world, leading to positive changes in his pedagogical activity. Thus, in order to meet the level of modern requirements, a future specialist must not only successfully engage in a specially organized training system, but also continuously work on himself, professionally improve himself.
