Information
Information (5 minutes): We started practice by spending five minutes discussing the basics of padel tennis. This included an explanation of the equipment required for the game, the size of the court, and the rules of the game. We also talked about the differences between padel tennis and traditional tennis. Warm-up (10 minutes): Then we moved on to the warm-up part of the workout, which lasted 10 minutes. We started by doing 5 laps around the court to warm up the body and get the blood pumping. This was followed by leg exercises to improve movement quality and agility. Basic exercise (35 minutes): The main part of the training was the basic exercise, which lasted 35 minutes. We started by teaching players how to hold their racquet with a continental grip, which is the standard grip used in padel tennis. a) Exercise 1: The first exercise we did was to hold the racket and hit the ball upwards, spinning the racket 20-25 times. This drill helped the players get used to the feel of the racket and develop grip strength. After that, we repeated the same exercise, but this time hitting the ball not in the air, but on the ground. b) Exercise 2: In the second exercise, three of our players stand in the place where the pancakes are, and the named player must hit the ball. Each player had three minutes to practice hitting the ball to improve their technique and accuracy. This exercise helped the players get used to hitting the ball under pressure and developed coordination and reflexes. c) The next exercise will focus on learning to hit from the right side. The players stood in the place marked with a pancake, and I showed how to hit effectively with the right hand. I threw the ball in front of each player to make it easier to hit, and they often exchanged shots. d) Our next exercise will focus on how to hit from the left side. At the same time, the players stood in the place marked with a pancake. And I would show you in practice how to strike effectively with the left hand. I throw the ball in front of each player to make it easy to hit. And they often exchange blows. If there are more, we will try this exercise on the other side of the network. e) If the players do not encounter any difficulty, they take turns trying to hit the ball correctly against me up to 2 chances. If they lose, we will continue the exercise with another player. Once all the basic exercises have been successfully completed, we will continue to play 2 on 2 to 7 on the same team with me. The rule of the game is not to leave the 1st back line. Throughout the exercises, we gave the players feedback on their technique and helped them make the necessary adjustments. We also encouraged them to ask questions and practice on their own to improve their skills. Thus, the training lasted one hour and was divided into three parts: information, warm-up and basic exercises. We spent five minutes discussing the basics of paddle tennis and then ten minutes warming up. The basic exercise lasted 35 minutes and included two different exercises to improve the grip strength, technique, accuracy, coordination and reflexes of the players. Download 7.19 Kb.
