Information about BINGO
Bingo is a simple but enjoyable game that is played with bingo cards, counters and prompts. It works well as a whole class activity, with each individual using their own card. It’s a popular game among teachers and can be used as a revision activity or just for fun. The game is played by players listening to prompts given by a teacher (or caller) and covering squares on their bingo cards with counters when they match the prompt. When a player has a row completely covered in counters, they call out ‘BINGO’ to win the game.
Instruction
A teacher divides students into 2 groups. He/she draws a table to the blackboard. 2 groups choose" X" or "0". The teacher gives questions to each group one by one. If which group find answer, the teacher ticks with "X" or "0". At the end of the game, the same ticks "X" or "0" group will be winner.
Age
This method is suitable for 7th class student. Their level is pre-intermediate.
