Connect the electrode, electrode cable , etc according to the Main Unit and Functional Fittings Connection Sketch-map and press the mains switch to the status of ON, ready for operation (stand by). fix the elastic belt on the body for therapy. Time setting: press “Time” can set up the fixed treatment time within 0-30 mins. Press the "Pulse Choice" button, there are six kinds of treatment modes to be selected, the certain kind of treatment mode will flash when chosen. There are low frequency (1-1000Hz) and medium frequency (1000-5000Hz) treatment. The default is MF mode. Press the "М-Wave L-Wave" button to switch. The indicator shows orange for medium frequency; it shows green for low frequency Startup: After setting up the treatment methods, time setting, press “ Keep / Cycle” . The apparatus is then on and begin to work (output pulse wave is transferred to the electrode) the apparatus work under the “Keep” mode. Repeat and function selection setting: sharing one key certain treatment pulse wave in the “Current Mode” can be selected, otherwise it works as the repeat function; “Treatment” should be cooperatedly used. The twinkling blue light symblizes the cycle operation while the long lighting means operating under selection. Therapeutic time (or under the construction of doctor): on the same part: 1 -2 times per day, 10-20 min per time and the period of treatment covers 7 days; to the severe patient: 2-3 times per day, 15-30 min per time and advisably increase the periods of treatment. When finishing the treatment, the apparatus will give off the sound hint of “B*” , and automatically cut off every output channel at the same time.The relevant indication lights will go off, leaving the indication lights of standby state and power supply. After use, the switch should be turned to OFF and the power supply should be pulled out and properly stored for the next use. ■ Safety Precautions Precautions for Users /j\ Danger Never use with the following medical electronic apparatus together: Interior built-in medical electronic apparatus such as heart pacemaker, etc. Medical electronic apparatus for life maintaining such as artificial heart and lung, etc Medical electronic apparatus such as electrocardiograph that will cause the malfunction of these medical electrical apparatus. When connecting the high frequency operation apparatus and therapeutic apparatus to the patient's body, the part attached to the therapeutic electrode might be burned and the device would be damaged. When using the therapeutic apparatus (1 .OM) near the shortwave or microwave device, its output might be unstable. And please consult the doctor or distributor if abnormity of the body or skin is felt. 3s Do not use it in the bathroom and during the shower, otherwise powerful electrical puncture and shock would be suffered. Do not use it when sleeping, and the guardian should be present if necessary, otherwise this apparatus cannot be effectively controlled. Do not use this apparatus while driving the vehicles (and other means of transportation, machinery device, etc), otherwise traffic or other safety accidents might happen. Do not apply the patch electrodes on to the body for a long time and the patch electrodes should be taken off immediately after the treatment, otherwise skin sickness will be caused. Do not randomly assemble, repair or alter this apparatus, otherwise breakdown or accident would occur. The tested qualified therapeutic apparatus outputs alternating pulse voltage. If the therapeutic apparatus breaks down, it will be possible that direct current outputs by certain amount, when the skin will feel abnormal, burning or no pulse jumping. Otherwise, the skin of the part attached to the electrode will emerge reddish swelling. If so, user should stop the apparatus and consult the doctor or distributor. »> 15 Therapy Instrument Model:KA-F25 Notes and Safety Precautions Phi|sio-Stiffl Notes When the output voltage or current (referred to the efficient value) is adjusted to 50% of the maximum value (max value, counted by the dial), it might exceed 10V or the current density of the electrodes exceeds 2mA/cm2, so the user should pay special attention to: 1, the endurance for the output force degree and gradual proceeding 2, that the sequela of apoplexy or hemplegia patients is advised to control the output force degree within 10~35% in their very first use.
3, that the treatment for acupoints in the head and face is advised to control the output force degree within 10-30%. ■ Attention—General Attention Clean the affected part with wet towel before therapy and apply the electrode ( patch electrode) after drying up. Electrode hshould adequately contact (press) the skin to improve the therapeutic effect. Change new patch if the long-term use makes the electrode stickness ageing and the patch is easy to slip. Moisten the skin with wet towel when the weather or skin is dry to improve the electrical conductivity thus obtaining excellent effect. The phenomenon that the stimulation of one electrode is strong while the other is weak will appear because of the pathological-change-induced insensiveness or varied sensibilities in different parts. In such a circumstance can the electrode with weak feeling be changed to another acupoint or two electrodes exchanged. Stop using the Device and consult the doctor if you feel sick during the therapy. It is normal to feel more painful for the therapy will promote blood circulation. Do not directly bring the two electrodes into contact with each other, which will result in damaging the Device. The Device is equipped with two modes of therapy which can be alternated according to the patient. Please drink a glass of water after the therapy to compensate for the lost water and take other activities after a short rest. 16 Therapy Instrument Model:KA-F25 Phqsio-Stim Maintenance and Storage • Cleaning and Sterilization Attention—preventive examination Examine whether the power cord is damaged or broken; whether the power socket is loose or bound to fall off. Examine whether the power switch, time control key, infrared thermotherapy key, therapy control key are flexible and the output strength adjusting knob is in order and smooth. Examine whether related fittings are sufficient and sound. Maintenance and Storage • Cleaning and Sterilization ■ For the Main Unit 1. If the main unit is dirty, clean it with a piece of clean soft cloth. The extreme dirt can be wiped off with the soft cloth dipped with (diluted) neutral detergent and afterwards clean it with another piece of clean soft cloth dipped with clean water. 2. Sterilize it by wiping with medical alcohol 75% if necessary and the method as aforesaid. St Do not clean it with volatile chemical preparations or immit water or liquid into the main unit. ■ For the Electrode Keep the electrodes clean and keep them off dust, oily objects and others, otherwise the stickness will weaken and the life expectancy will ultimately shorten. Once the pad is weakened or the skin feels stinging for the patch electrode is dirty, clean the electrode with clean water meanwhile softly wiping it with a finger for several times and reapply it after it is completely dry. Sterilize it by means of wiping it with medical alcohol 75% if necessary. The convenient method is to evenly clean the surface with a cotton swab dipped with alcohol 75%. St Do not wipe the surface with tissue, cloth, etc; do not scratch the surface with nail or brush; do not put it in the sun. ■ Storage of the Whole Machine 1. The whole machine (including fittings) should be put in the well-ventilated, dry and clean indoor environment. 2. Please put it beyond childrens reach. Therapy Instrument Model:KA-F25
