  1. Product- baby mineral water(filled with minerals which are necessary for babies to their difestive system , especially for their kidneys)

Potential foreign market- India (Water-stressed country, high infant mortality rate, high fertility rate-average 3 children for a family)


  1. The main objective of this research is to analyze the matket, consumer behavior, their choices and demand for this product



  1. I need several types of information:

  1. Market growth and size

  2. Number of new-born children

  3. Water scarcity (especially which regions)

  4. Competitors who are also producing baby-care products

  5. Government regulations



  1. Both primary and secondary sources are important for me.

  1. Primary sources- interviews with mothers, survey and questtionares , observations

  2. Secondary sources- statistics (especially from NSC-national statistical comission) of population, market size, which regions are in need of clear still water, in which regions the mortality rate is high

Part 2

  1. I want to use various tools, such as observation, survey and questtionares, interviews (for those where literacy rate is too low), statistical reports of a country



  1. My research sample should be big, because country has more than 1,5 bln population, regional divisions are so high, therefore I should observe many people, and especially mothers will participate as a research sample



  1. I will use both quantitative and qualitative research methods. Because it is new market and new product, we should be ready for various consumer behavior and preferences. Qualitative research methods: surveys, interviews, observations and Quantitative methods are information from statistical committee and Internet sources.
