INTRODUCTION




Actuality of the theme. Under the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Education” and the National Program of Personnel Training a comprehensive system of teaching foreign languages, aimed at upbringing of harmoniously developed, highly educated, modern-thinking young generation, the further integration of the republic into the word community was established in the country. During the years of independence, more than 51.7 thousand teachers of foreign languages have been trained, multimedia tutorials in English, German and French languages for 5-9 schools grades and electronic resources for learning English in secondary schools have been developed, more, than 5000 language laboratories in secondary schools, vocational and academic lyceums have been equipped.
However, the analysis of the current system of organization of foreign language learning shows that educational standards, curricula and textbooks do not fully meet modern requirements, especially in the use of advanced information and media technologies. Education is carried out mainly under traditional methods. The organization of continuous foreign languages learning at all levels of the education system, as well as the work on upgrading the skills of teachers and the provision of modern teaching materials should be further improved.
Vocabulary teaching is a rhetorical practice dating back to ancient Greece, based on an interactive and representational argument to persuade judges and audience; during the process different strategies of logic building as well as delivery are used to guide the target audience to a conclusion on a controversial issues. Vocabulary teaching can be used in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classes to practise all the skills in real context.
The aim of this course paper is to analyze all possible features of – The Role of Learning Strategies in Teaching English Vocabulary
The close study of language teaching puts forward a lot of tasks as: vocabulary teaching to outline the classification of language learning strategies to study all features of language teaching to research the ways of enlarging and enriching of the the productive skills of English language.
The main material of this course paper is illustrated with examples in English, the sentences which are taken from various books and scientific literatures.
The object of the given course paper is the productivity, creativity and development of teaching B2 level students English vocabulary.
The subject matter of this course paper is to study all possible features of – the role of teaching magazine articles as a vocabulary source.
The scientific novelty of this course paper is in that we have investigated and worked out all possible features of – developing presentation of English vocabulary and vocabulary teaching.
The theoretical value of this course paper is that the theoretical position of the paper can be used in translation works, investigation of linguistic phenomena in delivering lectures.
The practical value of the given course paper is that: the practical results and conclusion can be used as examples or tasks in mini tests, in seminars on Metodology
