Cases Considered as Cheating 
 
1. Carrying Cheating Materials 
1.1. The student caught with any cheating materials (for instance, cheating notes or 
something written on their body, rolling paper pen, unauthorized notes, books and 
others) during the examination is considered as cheating. 
2. Electronic devices (Smartphone, Smartwatch and etc.) 
2.1. Any portable digital devices such as smart phone, digital watch, pagers, tablet, iPods, 
and so on are NOT allowed to be with the students during the examination. Carrying 
such devices with the students shall be considered as an act of cheating regardless 
of the circumstances they intend or not. 
3. Irregular and Suspicious Behavior 
3.1. The students who do not follow as directed by the proctor are considered as cheating. 
3.2. Looking around 
3.2.1. The students are NOT allowed to look around once the examination starts. The 
student caught with this behavior is regarded as cheating. 
3.3. Passing or showing the work to other students 
3.3.1. The students are NOT allowed to pass or show the work to other students once 
the examination starts. The student caught with any of those behaviors is 
regarded as cheating. 
3.4. Talking/whispering to each other. 
3.4.1. Talking/whispering to each other is regarded as cheating. 
3.4.2. If one student tries to talk/whisper (ask) to his/her friend and the other does 
not react, the one who tried to talk/whisper shall be caught as cheating.

3.5. Lending or borrowing 
3.5.1. Lending or borrowing of pen, pencil, eraser, and calculator is strictly 
prohibited in the examination room. Lending or borrowing shall be considered 
as cheating regardless of the circumstances the students intend or not. 
3.6. Writing after the examination 
3.6.1. When the stopwatch rings and the proctor announces the end of the 
examination, the students must stop writing. The students who continue to 
write after the examination is over shall be regarded as cheating.
