Purpose of the study consists in determining the formation and gradual 
development of ways of expressing the author's consciousness in modern Uzbek 
prose, as well as substantiating important theoretical aspects of the philosophical-
aesthetic, psychoanalytic approach to poetic research in the author's "I", the 
author's voice, the author's consciousness in the works of U. Hamdam, I. Sulton. 
Research objectives:
generalization of the author's voice in modern Uzbek prose and the 
relationship between spirit and emotion in ensuring its poetic integrity on the basis 
of theoretical provisions that are emerging in world and Uzbek literature; 
interpretation of the factors of the essayization process in stories and 
narratives in comparison with the works of world writers; 
classification of the similarities and differences in the work of U. Hamdam of 
the methods of formation, manifestation of the author's consciousness in the story 
and the novel; 
substantiation of the role and functional significance of historical legends and 
myths in deepening the mythological interpretation in the stories and narratives of 
I. Sulton; 
identification of interpretations in the author's consciousness while deepening 
traditional and non-traditional processes in artistic creation; 
theoretical substantiation of portraits and landscapes, symphonies passing in a 
dream and the appearance of sounds as a reality that originally existed in the mind; 
clarification of the laws governing the transformation of rhythm and pathos in 
the mind of the author into a work with the integration of a creative idea. 
As an object of research, we took such stories, novellas and novels as 
“Man”, “Loneliness”, “Rebellion and Submission”, “Sabo and Samandar” by U. 
Hamdam, “Aydinbulak”, “Prayer”, “My Mother”, “ The Eternal Wanderer ”
I. Sulton. Attention is paid to the biographical, comparative methods of studying 
the aspirations of the poetic aspects of the author's consciousness, "I", the intimate 
relationship of reality in these works to enlightenment, which arose under the 
influence of samples of world literature.
