INTRODUCTION
The decree “On measures for further improvement of foreign language learning” from December 10. 2012 is an important factor in improving teaching of foreign language to a new level”1. Extensive works on the continuous learning of foreign languages at all stages of the education system. Professional development of teachers to provide educational institutions with modern teaching materials are conducted for effective implementation of the tasks. At the opening of International Assembly our President Shavkat Mirziyoyev pointed out as (17/02/2018) : “I would draw your attention to a rather vital point. In the system of education we pay a great importance to teaching pupils not merely liberal arts and vocational skill, but also required learning of foreign language, for this is crucial for them to maintain an communication with their counterparts abroad, get extensive knowledge of everything that is going on around the globe, and remain a part of the world intellectual treasure”2. Uzbekistan is establishing the economic, political, scientific, and cultural relations with various peoples of the world. International relations are extended and strengthened through the exchange of delegations as well as scientific, technical, and cultural information. The people of our country want to know what is going on in the world in all spheres of human activity: science, engineering, culture, politics, etc. They also want to acquaint with other people with their life and achievement. In this situation foreign language teaching is a matter of state of significance. The actuality of the research. Data Collection is an important aspect of any type of research study. Inaccurate data collection can impact the results of a study and ultimately lead to invalid results. Data collection is a fundamental step in each research study. Understanding how to collect data for research is going to help you finish your assignment in the best quality. Inaccurate methods will affect the outcome of your research. Whether you want to gather qualitative or quantitative data, you need to guarantee you are following adequate techniques in gathering information. This chapter focuses on the right techniques and tips to follow to gather numbers and results for quantitative and qualitative research projects. The aim of the research paper is to develop the skills to design data collecting tools in classroom investigation and to set the stage for the discussion of how data are used to support student learning in schools by reviewing some of the reasons for the increased attention given to data analysis in education today, and by providing an organisational framework to describe the use of data in education. The tasks of the research paper are the following:
- determine the main patters of action research;
- characterize the specific features of data introduction;
- give effective methods and techniques of data collecting in classroom investigation;
- investigate the stages of data processing;
- specify the advantages and disadvantages of data collecting tools. The novelty of the research. Action research can be a very valuable way to extend teachers teaching skills and gain more understanding of themselves as teachers, their classrooms and their students. This paper focuses to provide a rationale on the use of action research in foreign language education and data collecting methods. Learning may take place without conscious teaching, but teaching is intended to result in personal learning for students, and is worthless if it does not do so. In other words, the concept of teaching is understood as a process that is intrinsically and inseparably bound up with learning. There is no separate discussion of language learning; instead, both content and process of the various modules consistently require the teacher to study learners problems, needs and strategies as a necessary basis for the formulation of effective teaching practice and theory. The object of the research paper is the process of investigating the classroom in teaching foreign language. The subject of the research paper is the character and complex of strategies for data collecting in language teaching The practical and theoretical value of the research. The important things is that the processes involved are helpful to the practicing teachers’ reflection irrespective of whether they can be verified by someone else. Language teachers will be putting planning theory into classroom practice and it constitute a resolution to the teaching theory-practice issue.. This paper can be used in Methodology courses of English. The structure of the research paper. It includes introduction, two chapters, conclusion and bibliography. Attitudes to data analysis in education have changed in recent years, and it is illuminating to consider the background against which these changes have occurred. Any research is only as good as the data that drives it, so choosing the right technique of data collection can make all the difference.
