Womens’ Rights activist.
Kate Sheppard was born in 1847 year 10th March in Liverpool, England and also live in New Zealand.
She was fair, active and protecting womens’ rights aslo she was courageous.
Her goal was that women’s participation will be good in voting process.
In 1863, New Zealand became the first country to grant all women-including indigenous.
Kate put forward the idea, not stopping. She expressed her opinion to Parliament.
Kate values women’s rights and she achieves it and she “We are tried of having “sphere” doled out to us.”
Also, she was the editor of the White Ribbon, the first woman-operated newspaper in New Zealand. Sheppard was the first president of the National council of Woman of New Zealand.
