Conclusion
Having considered all the main aspects of this issue, we found that the student's educational activity is motivated not by one single motive, but by a whole set of different motives that complement each other and are in a certain interaction with each other.
The motivational sphere is the core of the student's personality. If at the beginning of his school activity, the student has his own, clearly defined inner position, then he has to learn. As a rule, have good and excellent marks. Among the numerous social motives of learning, the main ones are such learning motives as: “bring joy to parents”, “I want to know more”, “it is interesting in the lesson”, etc.
With a certain set of knowledge, the student receives good grades, which, in turn, are a source of other rewards, as well as a guarantee of his emotional well-being and a source of pride.
If a child learns well, then he is made an object of pride for both teachers and parents, he becomes a model for other students. Moreover, in a classroom where the teacher's opinion is a priority and significant, these factors become of paramount importance.
Due to the fact that the concept of “doing a good job” or getting a prestigious education at a university is a distant prospect for a student and cannot be activated for educational activities. However, social motives are significant for the individual development of the student at all stages of his schooling.
In this work, the motives of primary, secondary and high school students and the specific features of their development for each age group were analyzed. We found that there is a change in the level of motivation from class to class, which indicates a change in the importance in learning foreign languages.
The skill of the teacher lies in creating a competent combination of "implied" motives and motives "really existing". At the same time, the teacher should be able to pay attention in time to the successful result of the student's activity. This is done in order to create the basis for a higher type of internal motives that govern the activities of the individual.
