There is no hierarchical relationship between them. Differences may occur only in relation to the situation at hand. It is wrong to think that a principle can perform the job of educating all by itself, without concrete activities planned by the teachers and students. Let us stress that a teacher's enthusiasm is not sufficient for good educational work and management of extracurricular activities, as teachers also need to be qualified for this work - professional knowledge and methodical preparation are necessary. The students' creative productivity largely depends on the teacher's professional competences, actions, work methods and his relationship with his students. The teacher's knowledge, abilities and experience are brought forward in his work on informing, orienting, planning, organizing and conducting extracurricular activities with students. The pedagogical role of a teacher involved in extracurricular activities is manifested in assisting, inciting, coordinating, counseling, teaching and directing learners towards a correct, cultured and rational usage of leisure time.
