I like to go to the cinema. When I have free time, I always go to see a new film. When I want to go to the cinema I usually look in the programme what films are on. Then I phone my friend and we discuss what films to see. We prefer feature films, but also enjoy cartoons and popular science films. To see a good love story, musical or detective film is a very pleasant way of spending free time. There are many talented actors and actresses in this country. My favourite actor is Oleg Yankovskyi. My favourite actress is Natalia Gundareva.They played the leading parts in many films and I have always enjoyed their superb acting. The last film I saw was the screen version of the novel "Gone with the Wind" by Margaret Mitchell. It's an old film but it still enjoys great popularity. There are many famous American actors in it with Vivien Leigh and Clark Gable starring. I was deeply impressed by their acting and the film itself. It hasn't lost its visual splendour with the passage of time.
Writing activity. Write a composition about your favourite actor or film. Use some phrasal verbs and idioms in it.

Men ko’rgan so’ngi film bu Margarit Mitchellning “Shamol bilan birga” romanining ekran versiyasi edi. Bu eski film, lekin u hali ham katta mashhurlikka ega. Unda Vivien Ley va Klark Geybl rollarini o’ynagan ko’plab taniqli amerikilaik aktyorlar bor. Ularning aktyorlik faoliyati va filmning o’zi menda katta taassurot qoldirdi. Vaqt o’tishi bilan u o’zining vizual chiroyi yo’qotmadi.

My favorite movie and its protagonist

I would rather watch a movie on TV at home than go to the movies. Our televisins show the best and latest movies. In particular, they present the best of foreign films to the audience. I really like the Scottish film Sheryurak. This film depicts the struggle of the Scots for freedom. This film is one of the historical films. But I think this movie is better than any modern movie right now. This film is a wonderful portrayal of people who are fighting for their country. I cried the first time I saw this movie. Because the protonist is brutally executed at the end of the film. The saddest thing is that even during the execution, the protagonist dies saying “FREEDOM”. The hero of this film is William Valls. I haven’t seen so many movies which he acted in,. But the whole movie is great. I would recommend to watch this movie to others.
