Introduction

In this lesson students will practice talking about daily routines. Students will review sentences and vocabulary from previous daily routines lesson. Students will practice what they learned about daily routines with Question and Answer missing information cards. PW word matching to create phrases. Present simple: Positive and Wh- questions.To provide practice of Daily routine vocabulary: What time do you, When do you, get up, go to bed, leave home, get home, have breakfast, have lunch, have dinner, start work/classes, finish work/classes, work, study, sleep, live, in the context of Daily routines, time.

Instruction

1 Warmer

Get everyone sat in a circle. The teacher starts this one off by saying "Last week, I went to the shops and bought a hat..."The teacher now prompts the next student to repeat the sentence, but add something new on the end. For example:Student 1: "Last week, I went to the shops and bought a hat....and a box of milk..."Student 2: "Last week, I went to the shops and bought a hat, a box of milk....and a teapot."Student 3: "Last week, I went to the shops and bought a hat, a box of milk, a teapot...and a spoon."

2 Task 1

For this activity studentsshould be diveded into 3 or 4mini groups.Fun missing letters. Look at the pictures and write the missing letters in words. Simple and useful for teaching and learning spelling



Task 2

Make a dialogue

Ask students to work in pairs. Students should make a dialogue asking about their daily routine. Dialogue should not be so long.

Task 3

Multiple choice tests with pictures

For the task 3 students should work in groups. This is a task to evaluate their knowledge of daily routines vocabulary. Look at the pictures, choose and circle the correct option.
