The illustration displays the steps by which plastic bottles are recycled.
In general, the entire procedure (of recycling plastic bottles) comprises more or less 9 distinct stages 
(collocation), and some specific stages include the use of different equipment to facilitate the process. 
Initially, bottles are thrown away into a bin that is specifically aimed for recycling products. Next, the bottles 
are collected by trucks and sent to a recycling center, where a sorting stage takes place. This stage involves 
some people for sorting out the used bottles depending on whether they can be recyclable further or not. The 
sorted bottles are then compressed into blocks, after which they are crushed and washed consecutively. Having 
washed thoroughly, plastic pellets are produced, which are heated in order that they can form raw material. It is 
worth noting that not only bottles can be produced from raw materials but also containers, T-shirts, pencils and 
bags, as well. The process repeats itself accordingly, with used bottles undergoing the same stages and steps 
again.
