Annotation. In studies, seedlings from the upper part and lateral buds of local varieties of pomegranate, available in Uzbekistan, were used as an explant. The most optimal solutions were used for sterilizing the surface of implants: water + 96% ethanol (30 sec) + 4.0% sodium hypochlorite (10 min) + 1.0% silver nitrate (20 min) + water (5 min). Two species MS (Murashige and Skoog, 1962) and WPM (Lloyd and McCown, 1980) were used to study the degree of branching under the influence of phytohormones of pomegranate varieties August shirini, Kozoki, Achchik dona and Tuyatish. Phytohormones were used in various concentrations (1.0 mg/l BAR + NAA 0.1 mg/l and 1.0 mg/l BAR + 0.15 mg/l NAA + 0.5 mg/l GK3) and combinations in the phase proliferation (growth). The WPM environment has been shown to be more efficient than the MS environment. In the experiment, a positive result was evaluated in the second combination of phytohormones at (1.0 mg/l BAR + 0.15 mg/l NAA + 0.5 mg/l GK3) influencing the reduction of budding time, the number and length of buds in all experimental varieties.
Key words: pomegranate, in vitro, Punica granatum L., BAP, WPM, NAA.

Annotation. The study used local pomegranate varieties available in Uzbekistan as transplants from the third and lateral buds. Water + 96% ethanol (30 sec) + 4.0% sodium hypochlorite (10 min) + 1.0% silver nitrate (20 min) + Water (5 min) solutions used for surface sterilization of implants were found to be the most optimal. Two species of MS (Murashige and Skoog 1962) and WPM (Lloyd and McCown 1980) studied the degree of branching under the influence of phytohormones of pomegranate August sweet, Kazakh, Bitter grain and Tuyatish varieties of pomegranate. Phytohormones (1.0 mg / l BAR + NAA 0.1 mg / l and 1.0 mg / l BAR + 0.15 mg / l NAA +0.5 mg / l GA3) at different concentrations and combinations were used during the polyphylation (salvation) phase. The WPM medium has been shown to be more effective than the MS medium. The effect of the second combination of phytohormones used in the experiment on 1.0 mg / l BAR + 0.15 mg / l NAA + 0.5 mg / l GA3 on the reduction of bud formation time, number of buds, bud length in all experimental cultivars rated positive.
