2.5 Heat Recovery from Exhaust Gases
The possible heat recovery from heat exchanging the exhaust gases has been calculated
according to:

is the heat exchanger load,
is the summation of the mass flow times the
heat capacity for each component and
∆ is the temperature difference between the gas flow
before and after heat exchange. In the case of heat exchange with the inlet gases, the new inlet
temperature was calculated according to:

is the gas inlet temperature without heat
exchanging.
