Objective
1. Students will be able to create cover letter and resume according to the job description.
2. Students will be able to engage and converse in job interview with confident manner.
3. Students will understand ethical issues such as plagiarism and follow correct citation to write
and revise research proposal.
4. Students will be able to demonstrate effective delivery techniques in their speeches and oral
presentations.
5. Students will understand global issues and problems as engineers.
6. Students will understand the cultural background and understandings of communication.
Course Description
This course explores professional technical writing and public communication strategies as
engineers.
Students will learn business-related interpersonal and interviewing skills, how to work in teams,
and practice business-related presentations.

Attendance – 30% (Watching the VOD lectures)
Assignments – 40% (Homework)
Projects – 30% (Resume, Cover Letter, Research)
