STARTER
Focus students’ attention on the photos.
Give them some time
to explore learning strategies reflected in them.
Possibleansw ers:
Pictures A and C show people who are building or working out
their correct strategies to be a success or achieve something in life.
Picture B is with chess game description in which players should
have exact strategy to defeat the enemy. Usually people compare the
life with a chess board where men using some strategies can win much.
Questions
should be answered by students, their personal ideas on
leaming strategies. If students face some understanding problems in
answering the questions, paraphrase the questions for them.
Eg.: What is your leaming strategy?
