SUBJECT INFINITIVE CONSTRUCTION
It performs the function of a complex subject and consists of two parts: a) A noun in the general case or a pronoun in the nominative case.
b) Infinitive in active or passive form.
Between them is the predicate. Such a construction is translated into Uzbek, starting with the predicate, vaguely personal sentences or using the introductory word:
e.g. The investigation is expected to be completed in near future. The study is expected to be completed in the near future.
The substance seems to have high melting point. This substance appears to have a high melting point.
The predicate can be expressed by the verbs of physical and mental perception (to think, to consider, to know, to expect, to see, to hear, etc.), which are used in the passive voice.
The verbs to come out, to turn out - to appear, to seem, to appear - to appear, apparently, to prove - to appear, to happen, to chance - to happen are used in the active voice and in the translation become introductory words.
The state of the patient doesn’t seem to have improved. It seems that the patient's condition has not improved.
