INTRODUCTION 
The relevance of this work. The adventure genre in American novels will always 
be relevant for us, because adventure novels have been leaving their indelible mark 
for centuries. in particular, the British writer Daniel Defoe probably did not hear 
about the life and adventures of the sailor Robinson Cruzo of York. The writer's 
most successful work is "Robinson Crusoe". this novel will always be interesting 
and relevant for us.
