3. Discuss the role of international trade in each subregion, based on which export goods do the countries in each subregion 
take active participation in the global market? (e.g. the main export goods of Central Asian countries like Uzbekistan and 
Kazakhstan are energy resources, like oil and gas and agricultural products, such as cotton, wheat and fruits etc.). Using 
relevant statistics conduct comparative analysis to show the importance of international trade for each subregion’s 
economy. Find out whether the countries in subregions have faced certain international trade issues. (20 marks)

4. Discuss the role of economic integration in the wellbeing of each subregion. Provide relevant arguments on the 
advantages and the disadvantages of economic integration for each subregion’s economy. Considering the fact of some 
countries in subregions being a member of a specific economic bloc, compare the countries based on gained benefits and 
experienced loses. (20 marks)

conduct proper comparative analysis. They should be able to demonstrate high-level critical thinking, including logical ordering 
of material, satisfactory use of English and referencing.
