More and more people all over the world choose to have unhealthy foods and drinks like fast food, Cola, chips, etc. Discuss the causes and effects of this trend. Give reasons for your answers and include any relevant examples.

The majority of people prefer to eat mostly junk food and drinks. Firstly this essay will discuss the causes of eating fast food. Secondly its effects.
The main cause why people buy fast food is the lack of time. Cooking takes a lot of time that`s why for people, especially for youngsters , it is easier to buy ready-made food than to make it by yourself. For example, a lot of students who live alone prefer to buy fast food and spend the rest of free time doing what they want.
Another cause why people eat unhealthy food(95) is that eating junk food becomes a habit. Because junk foods are easy to find, easy to make, and a lot of them just flat out taste good, consuming them becomes a habit. That's the real problem. For example, in my experience I can say that after repeatedly eating some chips every time I come to the store I always want to buy chips and cola and it`s difficult to do anything with it.(156)
Eating unhealthy foods on a regular basis may effect to health problems. Foods that contain large amounts of trans fats, saturated fat and sugar all contribute to increased chances of obesity. For example, we all know that in America fast food is one of the most popular meals and that’s why there a lot of fat people.
So as I said the main causes of this trend are that people have no time and that people can't deal with bad habits. After eating so many unhealthy food people are at risk of having major health problems.
