YOUTH TODAY

Children are the future of every country. What is good for the youth is good for the future of that country. Everyone loves their children and wants the best future for them. For that reason, people everywhere are interested in peace, security and a good stable economy.

The government of Uzbekistan pays great attention to the education and upbringing of young people. They have every opportunity to study. The uniform system of public education in our Republic makes it possible to proceed easily from lower level to higher education. Graduates can enter any type of specialized secondary or higher school.
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Mirziyoyev on June 30, 2017 declared the day of formation of the Union of Youth of the Republic of Uzbekistan and “Youth Day”. The objective of the Union of Youth of Uzbekistan is to involve young people in further deepening democratic, political and economic reforms in the country, to strengthen peace and harmony in the society, to attract Uzbekistan to the ranks of developed countries and effectively protect the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of the younger generation, to raise the spiritual and professional level of young people and girls, help them realize their intellectual and creative potential.
Much attention is paid to the development of young people and their preparation for employment. Teachers try to do their best to educate young people and to bring them up in the spirit of democratic ideals and internationalism. They try to teach children good morals and ethics as an implementation of five main initiatives aimed at creating additional conditions for the upbringing and education of young people and increasing the employment of women which was initiated by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Five Initiatives were launched by the president in February, 2019 during a trip to the Syrdarya region. They offer:
1. Increasing the interest of young people in music, arts, literature, theater and other types of art;
2. Enroll youth with sports, create the necessary conditions for this;
3. The organization of effective use of computer technologies and the Internet by the population and young people;
4. Enhancing the spirituality of young people, a wider propaganda of reading;
5. Ensuring the employment of women.
For each initiative, a draft program of measures has been developed.
It is the young people who will take the world’s future in their hands. That’s why it is necessary for them to develop their own interests and goals and to recognize and understand the problems of today.
What can we, the students of Andizhan State Medical Institute, do for our country? The answer is simple. Our main goal is to study well at the institute, gain deep knowledge of theoretical and practical medicine, prepare ourselves for our future profession, be the true citizens of our country and do our best to be useful for our Motherland.
