What we’re looking for 
ConocoPhillips provides opportunities in the Finance function for various 
disciplines, including accounting, finance and master’s of accountancy. Backgrounds in

Responsibilities: 
Audit coordination for internal and external auditors. 
Provide oversight and review of the preparation of legal entity statements including 
partnerships, quarterly and annual reporting, government, and tax questionnaires by 
entity and on non-routine responses to ad hoc US and Canadian tax requests.Support 
coordination of the quarterly/annual statutory reporting and other external reporting 
requirements. Ensure policy and procedure compliance including SOX analysis and 
process control reviews. Subject matter expert of financial reporting functions including 
lease accounting. Support and record appropriate legal entity changes and restructuring, 
and review of new agreements. Drive for continuous improvement. Actively seek out 
process gaps and develop and implement solutions. Develop into a subject matter expert 
on complex, non-routine transactions, financial restructuring, debt, treasury related 
activity, entity set-up and dissolution, foreign currency, and other accounting related 
matters. Liaise between the local business unit and Houston policy to implement new 
policies. Support finance related special requests and projects. 
Required Qualifications: 
Post-secondary degree in Finance or Accounting 
Highly proficient in Excel and other Microsoft applications 
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects/priorities 
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with various teams 
Ability to process multiple tasks concurrently, meet deadlines, and set priorities to keep 
pace with a changing work environment

Strong written and oral communication skills 
Legally authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis without restrictions 
Preferred Qualifications: 
Professional Accounting designation 
Broad understanding of IFRS, US GAAP, external reporting policies and procedures 
5+ years’ experience in upstream oil and gas industry 
Ability to use influence and leadership skills to initiate actions, foster agreement, and 
impact decisions 
Experience in Power Query, Power BI, or other data management tools would be an 
asset 
Working knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4HANA, BW, and Oracle EPM (FCCS) to 
input, analyze, validate, and report on data
