There are many beautiful cities across the world. I am quite fascinated by many of
them in the world but the one I find most interesting is Istanbul. Istanbul used to be a
capital city for several empires in the past and is a remarkable feat of old and new.
For a metropolitan city, it has quite a laid-back feel to it. The city has managed to gel
in the modern world aptly while preserving its culture and heritage at the same
time.
Istanbul is undoubtedly my favorite city among the cities I have visited so far. This
city is situated on the banks of several seas and has over 15 million people. I visited this
city in the summer of 2021 and loved my stay there. Istanbul has many attractive
natural areas, gardens, parks, and high rising buildings. This city has many

heritage-listed buildings that attract tourists and visitors. The Hagia Sophia is one of
the most recognised landmarks in Istanbul and is a great place to visit.
This city is known for its dynamic cultural hub and it has many famous museums,
mosques and castles as well. Because of the great architecture and warm weather
millions of international and domestic tourists visit this city each year. I stayed there
for about a week and I really enjoyed everything about this city. I stayed at a hotel that
offered a really amusing view of the old part of the city. People are welcoming and
friendly there. A tourist can get necessary help both from people and the authority and
can roam easily without any interruption.
I had a tremendous vacation in Istanbul and I liked most of the places there and I
enjoyed it so much that I didn't even notice how quickly my holiday passed. I would love
to visit this city again and I hope next time I will travel there with my parents and siblings
very soon.
